Gumdrop cases named Santa Barbara Unified School district’s official tablet case provider

Gumdrop’s ruggedized cases will protect the district’s 1,200 iPad Air devices

Gumdrop Cases announced a partnership with Santa Barbara Unified School District as the primary iPad Air case provider. Santa Barbara Unified School District’s Board recently approved a $700,000 iPad Air purchase giving the go-ahead to officially begin a 1:1 pilot program. 3rd through 6th graders at Washington, Adams, and Franklin Elementary Schools and 11th graders at La Cuesta High School will receive iPads with Gumdropcases Hideaway case w/stand next month.

Santa Barbara Unified School District Technology Director Todd Ryckman lead an evaluation of ruggedized cases and the Hideaway case for iPad Air emerged as the #1 choice. Gumdropcases delivered 1200 cases for iPad Air to SBUSD.The 1,200 Hideaway cases will be used to protect the district’s iPad Air tablets, rolled out in the schools as part of the district’s 1:1 pilot program.
