Gumdrop Cases announced a partnership with Horry County School District as their primary iPad tablet case provider. Horry County School District is a diverse, low-income district that encompasses Myrtle Beach, S.C., and is in the midst of a significant, systemwide effort to empower teachers with 21st century skills and create new learning environments to personalize education for each student. In January 2014, Horry County provided all middle school students with iPads for which the District purchased 10,000 Drop Tech Series cases. The district plans to extend the initiative over the next three years, so all students in grades 3-12 will have their own device.

“Breakage varies from school to school – overall we are pleased with the level of iPad protection the Drop Tech Case provides”

Charles Hucks, Executive Director of Technology, Horry County Schools
