The program provides special needs classroom up to 20 free protective cases for their tablets with a limit of 60 cases per school district. The program is open for applications now and will be processed first come first serve.
As mobile device adoption grows in educational settings across the country, tablets are increasingly used in special needs classrooms to help students communicate, enhance motor skills and nurture independence. With the Gumdrop Gives Back Program, the company seeks to offset the costs associated with protecting the tablets from damage. All students need significant protection for their Apple iPad, iPad Mini, Dell Venue, Samsung Galaxy or Lenovo Yoga tablets. The DropTech case with its dual layer of protection provides a sure grip and significant drop protection up to 6 feet.
