Duneland School Corporation Protects HP Chromebook 11 Devices With Gumdrop Cases

September 6, 2016 – California based Gumdrop Cases was recently selected by Duneland to protect new HP Chromebook 11 (11”) devices in Northwest Indiana. Duneland School Corporation oversees 5,000 students between five elementary schools, two intermediate schools, and a middle school and high school.

Gumdrop’s Softshell Chromebook case will be covering Duneland’s new hardware this school year, protecting its tech from damage by drops, bumps, backpack abuse, scratches and other punishment inflicted by its student body. The SoftShell case is the first to provide always-on drop protection and is capable of taking repeated 6-foot falls without breaking a sweat. The SoftShell’s unique design strategically employs a combination of rugged and high impact materials that have no problem protecting the fragile hinge and corners of any Chromebook from the daily abuse they normally receive.

SOFTSHELL HIGHLIGHTS

  • Flexible hinge protection – A unique silicone rear hinge bumper design provides flexible protection and ventilation for heat dissipation.
  • Rugged construction – The primary shock absorbing, silicone over-molded, outer bumpers are wrapped round a stiff poly-carbonate frame protecting the vulnerable and always-in-use corners from impact and abuse.
  • Tough, yet lightweight – Tough, lightweight and easily cleaned, fiberglass reinforced polyurethane skin for long lasting protection from general wear-and-tear.

The SoftShell HP Chromebook 11 case is available now to order on the Gumdrop Cases website or through a Gumdrop Cases sales rep for only $49.95. Gumdrop Cases also protects HP Chromebook 14 (14”) devices.
